The next in our series of six week classes from the ‘Way of Shambhala’ curriculum begins Nov 1st @ 8pm. This presentation is called Joy in Everyday Life and will be taught by Jim Norton.
The course provides an introduction to mindfulness meditation, Shambhala teachings and the foundational views of the Mahayana Buddhist teachings. Through an exploration of these teachings on intelligent compassion towards others, we begin to discover the joy of discipline, healthy energy and bravery.
It is an experiential training featuring a blend of talks, meditation practice, dialogues and discussion. It is possible to attend on a drop in basis as each week offers a self-contained class, however it is highly recommended to attend for the six weeks for maximum benefit and to count towards accreditation in the Way of Shambhala curriculum of training.
The class will begin at 8.00 pm and doors will be open from 7.30 pm for registration and tea/coffee will be available at this time.
If you wish to pay in advance for the six weeks then the cost is 75 euro.
If you wish to pay week by week then it is 15 euro per week.
